Vets & Animal Care
Similar to medical environments, a veterinary waiting area and treatment room should be clean and sterile. With different animals, big and small, coming in and out of the same treatment areas, the areas need to be easy to clean and kept as hygienic as possible.
Animals are unpredictable, so it’s not as easy to keep on top of germs and bacteria, but the available surfaces in an animal care environment should help keep a space clean and manageable between appointments.
Not all animals get along and the temperament of different animals vary so to be able to place some divisions between seating areas is useful. By dividing the waiting area, you’re able to create individual waiting zones that work for the space and the types of animals that come in to contact with each other.
Within the treatment rooms dividing screens can be useful whilst a small procedure or treatment is taking place. The vet will be wearing gloves and will be fully sanitized ready to assist the pet, but as an owner it might be required for you to remain behind a partition to reduce contamination and the risk of adding additional bacteria to the treatment table.
Another useful requirement for partition screens can be found at the reception desk. Reception areas in many settings are still protected with dividers and acts as a discreet protective layer between client and receptionist.
Our HPL (high pressure laminate) is the ideal finish for all spaces that require clean and sterile equipment. The white gloss laminate is easy to clean and can withstand the use of cleaning products that are bleach and chlorine based. As well as being easy to clean, the laminate accepts drywipe pens doubling up as a white board, the white gloss laminate is a dual purpose material.
Clear and frosted acrylic dividers, both freestanding and desktop divider provide the desk or area with a protective divide. Acrylic options are easy to incorporate as the material is discreet and provide an apparent division without changing the entire design of the room.
For a low maintenance, easy clean surface, the anti-bacterial fabric provides a treated material to stunt the growth of germs and bacteria. Treated with a sanitized technology, the anti-bacterial fabric is resistant to certain bacteria’s as well as blood and urine. No strong chemicals are required for cleaning, just warm soapy water.
