Linking and Non Linking Office Partitions
Rap Industries are a UK Office Screen manufacturer, offering a wide variety of screening solutions. We’re very aware that each office space is different and each requirement will differ, but we hope throughout the well thought out office partition concepts you’ll be able to find exactly what you need to do the job.
You’ll be able to find screens for individual industries, reducing noise, adding privacy and many more possibilities. We’re often asked about how our range of office partitions connect together and if any additional purchases are required.
Non Linking Office Partitions
Office Screens from the Delta, Nova, Mobi and Omega range are part of the non linking group. This means that the edging continues around the full edge of the divider, providing a clean and professional finish.
It’s not possible to connect any of these screens together, but that doesn’t mean they’re not compatible. It’s possible to position each office screen close to the next, to achieve a wall or partitioned section of an office. As all our screens are designed for long term use and adaptability, moving or changing the configuration is effortless.
With the Delta Office Partitions we use a bold, blue edging to create a striking finish that works well with the available vivid fabric colours.
Linking Office Screens
The remaining collection of office screens from the Budget, Morton, Concept and Flexi-screen ranges are fitted with linking channels located on either edge of the divider. The purpose of the linking channels are to securely hold multiple screens together to create a bespoke office pod or a certain width of screening.
To connect the office partitions together, no additional purchases are required. Each divider comes supplied with a 2-way flexible rubber strip, provided at the same height as the screen. The rubber linking strip fits into the channeling between 2 office partitions, resulting in a strong hold between screens. With the same linking strip, it’s possible to achieve a 90 degree angle when looking to create configurations such as pods and L shape divides.
If you’d like to create another shape, it’s possible you’ll need a 3 or 4 way linking strip which essentially allows you to connect 3 or 4 screens via 1 joining strip. These are available to purchase additionally to the screens and should be discussed with us when planning your layout.
