Working From Home

Working from home comes with numerous changes and can be quite the adjustment. To make the adjustment process easier it’s imperative that you have the right equipment and set up around you. There are some obvious must haves such as a desk, supportive chair and computer but outside of these items, what makes a home office functional?

Home Office Screening

Having the correct tools and features around you will allow you to complete your job to the same standard as if you were in the office surrounded by co-workers. Concentration levels can be a concern when working in a new environment, but having a designated workspace can help with this. To achieve the allocated workspace, we’d suggest office screens with are just as useful when used outside of the usual office space.

Freestanding office partitions and desk dividers can effectively create a barrier around the desk, reducing the amount of distractions entering your work area. Acoustic, pinnable, easy clean and printed finishes are to name a few of the available finishes to compliment your home office. Use your chosen finish to compliment the room design, whilst being practical.

We understand that the home office space is smaller than the office, so it’s important to not overcrowd the room. Desktop dividers are a fantastic way to gain the same support as a freestanding office screen, but without using any floor space. When attached to the back and sides of the desk, desktop dividers will shield and create privacy in your office away from the actual office.

Freestanding acoustic office screens create a real statement and bring the office feel to the home. Not only can you position freestanding screens directly around the desk, but you have the option to place in any open space. As with the desktop dividers, the freestanding office partitions are easy to move, reconfigure and can be extremely useful when designing a long term office space.
