Not all offices come designed with meeting rooms and private working areas and we understand that creating permanent rooms can be expensive and, in most cases, not a possible reality. However, there are other solutions available that create additional meeting space and come with a semi-permanent design.

Our Office Pods result in an impressive addition to the office space, but with a simple design that can be installed with ease. Rap Industries offer a wide selection of office partitions that have a linking facility, meaning each screen can be connected with the next, using the flexible linking strip. Creating the desired width and shape of your office pod is achievable by connecting the right size of screens together.

The advantage of creating an additional office room with partition screens is the ability to adapt and move the structure for future requirements. Our office screens can be moved and reconfigured, enabling different uses of the screen and the ability to rebuild in a different part of the office. Semi-permanent office features ensure changes can be made with little effort.

What do we need from you?

To ensure we can help you with sizing and any recommendations for the space you have, being able to see the available space in the room is a great start. A basic drawing of the pod can also come in handy.  If there is anything else we need to know about the space or any concerns you may have, please let us know before proceeding with an order.

Key pieces of information we require:

• Preferred height and width
• Does your office have any height restrictions?
• Is a door required?
• What are you looking to achieve with the pod? ie. Privacy pod, meeting room, training room etc
• Colour and fabric preferences
• How quickly is the pod required?

Once we have this information, we’ll have a great deal of information to work along side you to provide the perfect pod for your office space.

What types of office partitions can be used in the office pod?

The main type of office pod is an Acoustic Pod which is often used as a noise controlled environment and helps absorb excess noise, however the types of material can change based on the requirement of the office pod. Office screens that include acrylic, laminate and printed panels can also be included to create a combination design or a full pod made with the same type of office partition throughout.

Acoustic Office Partitions – Manufactured with high quality acoustic foam and fabric, which work together to create a room that can hold important meetings. Whilst all noise won’t be eliminated, a noticeable difference can be made to reduce noise levels.

Acrylic Office Screens – Adding acrylic into the office pod design adds a window like feature. Adding acrylic into an acoustic pod will reduce some of the noise reducing properties but will enable more light in to the partitioned space.

Choose from a clear or frosted acrylic and for a more personalized finish considering adding print to the acrylic in the form or a logo, image or text.

Laminate Partition Screens – White gloss laminate is an easy clean material that also accepts dry wipe pens. With that in mind, the laminate office partitions are a great addition for meetings and training and provide a white board element without needing extra equipment.

Delivery & Installation

All our office partitions are manufactured and dispatched from our UK warehouse on a wooden pallet. This is to ensure the sections of the office pod are received in the same condition they left us. For full details on the pallet delivery – please click here.

One of the main attractions to our office pods, is that no installation team is required. Linking strips can be fitted into the screens within a matter of minutes, and linking the office partitions together is the main assembly process. Full instruction details will be included to ensure a swift and easy assembly process. 

How long will manufacture take?

All our partition screens are made to order, but the lead time can vary based on the size of the pod and the types of finishes that are chosen. At the quotation stage we will provide the number of working days we require to from point of order.
