Acoustic office pods and office cubicles

Office Cubicles

Rather than dividing a space, why not turn an open space into a comfortable work zone. It won’t be just a work zone, it can be a meeting pod, training room or additional work spaces. With the help of an office cubicle you can turn an unused space into an important part of the office.

It’s not uncommon to have parts of an office that aren’t used. It’s how you choose to use them going forward that’s important. Reinvent your work place with useful furniture that utilises every metre of the space in a positive way.

Our range of office cubicles are made with a combination of panels, all of which bring something different. For reduced noise and privacy purposes, acoustic office screens are a great selection. By absorbing unwanted noise from inside and outside the pod, which works well for conversations and meetings.

However, more office panel options are available. Choose one of the pre-designed office booths or build your own with the use of acoustic screens, laminate partitions and acrylic panels. The right combination of materials will create the right type of pod for your space. Use the wide range of styles and colour variations to your advantage and create a bespoke room.

How to build your own Acoustic Booth

With access to many different screens, you have the ability to build your own cubicle that fits into the space, for both size and design purposes. How big or extravagant you decide to go, is completely up to you. But we can tell you about the different types of pods and what’s possible.

Not all office pods require a door or full privacy. If this is the case, then you have the pick from all our office partitions. When creating a smaller pod, without a door or more open walls, it’s an easy design to configure.

All that’s required is the height, width, and depth. From this you can shop the range of acoustic, laminate and glazed screens to fit to your specific measurements. For more help and guidance, contact our team on 01733 394941.

Full workplace enclosure

For the full office cubicle experience you’ll need 4 walls and a door. The full enclosure booth provides full coverage, with 4 walls and a door that makes it apparent the room is used for meetings and private conversations.

To bring an element of light and openness, the full sized panels can include an acrylic section. The acrylic panel acts as a window with varying levels of visibility. Clear acrylic is completely see through and will allow full visibility. But to keep in line with the need for privacy the frosted acrylic lets light through and reduces visibility from in and outside the pod.

Floor to ceiling pods

Construct acoustic office pods of full height using the Concept office partitions. With a height of 2.4m, the Concept partitions offer optimal privacy without exceeding height limits. While most rooms exceed 2.4m, the Concept's acoustic and acrylic solutions bring you as close as possible.

Configuration & layouts

Assembling a room as part of your revised office design can seem daunting. But with our simple designs and assembly process, it won’t take long.

Using a non linking screen requires the addition of the chosen stability feet. Once these have been put into place, all let’s left to do it choose the placement. Sit the panels directly next to each other making sure the edges are flush and no gaps apparent.

As for the linking screen, the same method applies except with one small change. Once the panels are close, add the linking strip which provide a firm connection from panel to the next. Due to the link strips flexibility, 90 degree angles can be formed

Both types of office screen can be moved, which is important to note for the future. As the office need changes, you’re able to adapt the size and shape of the pod with ease. The design is only as permanent as you need it to be!

Office cubicle walls and panels are the modern way to segreate the office, and bring new uses to forgotten or unused floor space. Design and sculpt a custom layout to maximise space as well as functionality.
